Harmony is a relatively good slice on UK44, which combines the rep of M-Zone (Doncaster) and Gollum’s (EFX) production skills. Frankly the independent work of M-Zone has always seemed lacking compared to his German counterparts so my fascination for this record comes from the collaborative aspect with Gollum. We get two very different takes on this one; the better-known A-Side is a bouncy affair maybe with a light Barcelona influence. Overall it’s your typical, uplifting hardtrancer and not quite as lethal in comparison to other Gollum productions i.e. Plastic House, Pagemaster, First Strike… The B-Side offers the contrast of a chugging NRG track with a diminished BPM. You’d play it for the groove, not the hook unlike the A-Side. Not the best of Gollum but Harmony is an acceptable addition to any HT collection especially for the UK buffs.

One of the best collarborations on uk44 this one, the hard trance experience and knowledge of dj M-Zone mixed with the hard trance expertise of Dj Gollum. This has a very "ravey" feel to it with its twisted bassline and harmonising breakdown with the vocals "harmony...together we shall live in perfect harmony". A true favourite for Dj Mark Eg back in the day played at "Human Nature" 1998 back2back with M-Zone and another record from Dj Gollum establishing him as a true force within the hard trance genre.
